  • Beverage & Service Coordinator

  • Tasting Counter is a unique restaurant concept focused on providing guests with exceptional dining experiences. As a growing company, we are seeking a Beverage & Service Coordinator who is passionate about food and beverage, shares our vision for innovation, and strives to provide guests with a remarkable dining experience. Tasting Counter offers a variety of beverages (natural wine, craft beer, premium sake, and handcrafted non-alcoholic beverages) which guests can select to pair with their tasting menu.

    With no front and back-of-house distinction, constant cross-training creates a seamless lateral movement within the restaurant, keeping things interesting and fresh. There is plenty of opportunity for upward mobility and the possibility to take on lead roles within our beverage program and restaurant operations.     This position’s responsibilities include a wide range of hospitality functions. The core aspect of this position is serving beverages and providing detailed descriptions to our guests during lunch and dinner services, with opportunities to assist curate and manage our beverage program as well. Previous experience with natural wine and beverage service is preferred, but determination, willingness to learn, and an open mind is paramount. This position is well-suited for individuals who are interested in a wide range of challenges, including mastering our unique style of service, learning Tasting Counter systems, and assisting with beverage and service administrative duties.

    • Requirements: Minimum of 2 years restaurant experience required.

  • Pastry Production Coordinator

  • Tasting Counter is looking for a Pastry Production Coordinator to join their team. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and experienced with “from-scratch” dessert production, including pastries, breads, custards, ice creams/sorbets, candies, and chocolates. Your ability to self-motivate, assist in conceptualizing new dishes for their constantly evolving menu, love for seasonal ingredients, and ability to work with a small, closely knit team is paramount. If you are focused, determined, versatile, and committed to quality with the highest attention to detail, Tasting Counter is the ideal place for you.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Complete understanding of “from-scratch” baking/pastry and ice cream/sorbet production.
    • Must be precise, detail-oriented, and have developed technical skills.
    • Work with executive chef and kitchen management team to execute new plated desserts and various small bites (hors d’oeuvres / mignardises).
    • Experiment, test, update, organize, and manage new and existing recipes.
    • Consistently maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station.

    This is a creative and production based position that will be responsible for the production of all plated desserts and various small bites.   • AM Prep Cook

  • We are seeking a motivated and eager to learn AM prep cook to join our team and fill a full-time position in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are a small, rapidly growing restaurant with tremendous growth potential for new staff.

    RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS:

    • Follow recipes and complete assigned kitchen tasks.
    • Must be precise, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
    • Adhere to all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs and cultural point.
    • Maintain quality standards and a clean and sanitary workspace
