Our green pea miso is made with organic green peas collected in the springtime to create a unique soy-free version of traditional miso.
Green Pea Miso is made with organic green peas, which are steamed and mixed with koji rice to create our own soy-free version of miso. It’s rich and earthy with layers of savory vegetal flavors and a fresh green pea finish. It’s a taste of spring available anytime during the year, adding a nice burst of savoriness to any dish. With the earthy herbaceousness of fresh green peas, use it to finish soups, sauces, vinaigrettes, marinades, and anywhere else you might use traditional seasonings, such as salt and pepper, soy sauce, or traditional miso.

- Miso Sauce: Perfect with raw or roasted veggies, summer rolls and noodle dishes! Combine about 2 tablespoons of miso and nut butter, 1-2 cloves garlic, ½” slice of ginger, a dash of sesame oil, about 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar or a combo of rice vinegar and lime juice, and water in to thin to preferred texture. Blend until smooth and adjust seasonings by adding a bit more vinegar, a little bit of soy sauce, a dash of hot sauce or chili paste, or some honey or maple syrup. Store in a jar in the fridge for 1 week.
