Tart rhubarb - one of our favorite ingredients - stars in our Smoked Rhubarb & Pink Peppercorn Preserve. Rhubarb is typically sweetened for desserts but we also love it as a tart-sweet component in savory dishes. For this preserve, rhubarb is first smoked with local cherry and maple wood before being cooked down with organic sugar and toasted pink peppercorns. This end result is distinctly savory, making it ideal for a cheese or charcuterie board, while still being sweet enough for morning toast.
