FORAGING TOUR & DINNER – SUNDAY, APRIL 29

We're teaming up with Tyler Akabane, of Mushrooms For My Friends, for a guided foraging tour of the Middlesex Fells, followed by a 9-course dinner at Tasting Counter, incorporating all the ingredients foraged earlier that day.

Guests will choose one of two foraging tours (10am–12pm or 1pm–3pm) where Tyler, your guide, will lead you through the forest, foraging for New England plants and fungi. Learn all about the wild edible ingredients we find right here in our own backyard.

Les Cailloux du ParadisPlume d'Ange 2014

It's not every Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc that gets us excited, but this one truly has depth and wonderful terroir. Father-and-son winemakers Claude and Etienne Courtois pick these grapes late but allow the wine to ferment dry. It's then barrel aged for 12 to 16 months. This wine is rich but balanced, showing lots of minerality and notes of fresh spring greens. It will be part of our tasting menu for the next couple months and occasionally available at Wine Bar.
