We're officially open at TimeOut Market in Fenway (and equally as excited about making the cover of the inaugural issue of TimeOut Market Boston magazine)! If you haven't checked out this gorgeous space, you'll want to visit this fall! TimeOut Market Boston features a curated mix of 15 eateries, two bars, a demo kitchen, a retail shop and local culture. Chef Peter is one of TimeOut Market Boston's signature chefs and our Fenway team is having a blast cooking a fast casual menu of Tasting Counter dishes inspired by our Somerville location. From Duck Corn Dogs and our celebrated Sweet Potato Fries, to Shrimp Risotto and Braised Beef Shank, these dishes highlight carefully sourced ingredients and culinary traditions from around the world, and are served in a fun, high energy food market. Looking forward to cooking for you at our new home on the other side of the river!

This summer we've had a blast welcoming friends into Tasting Counter for our Wine Bar Takeover Series! In June, guest chef Alex Nystedt from Hot Chix Boston joined us and served his wildly popular Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches (paired with Tasting Counter's house-made hot sauces and sweet potato fries, of course) to a very happy crowd. In July our friend Lydia Reichert of Sycamore hopped behind the line at Tasting Counter and presented a gorgeous, summery menu~ think refreshing-with-a-touch-of-heat small plates like fluke crudo with Santa Rosa plums, cucumbers and shiso, and Calabrian chili sausage skewers. Basically the kind of food we'd happily eat all summer long. This month, friend Tse Wei Lim (most recently the chef at Journeyman in Union Square) will be behind the counter for one night bringing the heat and nuance of the often overlooked Peranakan style of Singaporean food, while we pour thirst-quenching wines that harmonize and cool the singe- from white wines fresh like mountain water and rosés that sing, to reds with buoyancy AND a slight chill! Peranakan food is the hidden face of Singapore’s legendary culinary scene. You won’t find this intricate, multi-layered cuisine in any hawker center, and only a handful of restaurants on the island serve it at all. But for one night, you WILL find it at Tasting Counter! As always with Wine Bar, we invite guests to just show up and join us! No reservations or tickets required.
