2018 was another amazing year at Tasting Counter. We still pinch ourselves over the incredible progress we've accomplished over the last 12 months...

SPRING – we began hosting our seasonal Foraging Tour & Dinner series with Mushrooms For My Friends, which has been incredibly fun and rewarding. A few seats are still available for our winter edition... this Sunday, January 27!SUMMER – we were honored with our 3rd Best of Boston award from Boston Magazine, while our Wine Bar received the "Hidden Gem" awarded from The Improper Bostonian. Then Boston Magazine published the 50 Best Restaurant List in November, bestowing us the #3 spot amongst great company!

FALL – we launched TC Market, offering a collection of the same handmade hot sauces, vinegars, and preserves we use nightly in our tasting menu, now available for our guests to enjoy at home. These products were such a hit that we sold out over the holidays, but now have more in store (see below)!WINTER – already moving well into 2019, we're excited to share some upcoming projects, but first take a look at last year's numbers...

WINTER FORAGING WORKSHOP & DINNER– SUNDAY, JANUARY 27 –

Our 4th seasonal foraging dinner this Sunday focuses on our frigid New England climate. Join us as we host a hands-on workshop at Tasting Counter on foraged food preservation. Guests will sample and help prepare various preserves using ingredients foraged from throughout the year, followed by our 9-course tasting menu featuring those elements. Learn about wild edible ingredients found right here in our own backyard and lend a hand transforming these unique products into a creative multi-course tasting menu!

We launched TC Market online in November and were floored by the response... we sold out of everything over the holidays! So we've been working tirelessly to re-stock our inventory available to purchase online or in the restaurant, such as Satsuma Mandarin with Yuzu & Cranberry and Quince, Kumquat, Cranberry & Maple. Our products are always handmade in small batches, primarily from local ingredients, such as those grown by our friends at Wild Acres Farm.
